Report
The report can take one of three different methods, a fully written report by a single individual or may be an oral presentation which will require a report and a poster. The topics selected must include remote sensing information.
Written Report - must be five pages of text (cover page and end notes are in addition), font size must be 11 or 12 point, pages should be numbered, a set of end notes of at least five sources are required and must be presented in a standard format, a cover page is also required. Topic must be approved at least two weeks before submission.
Oral Report (in person students or distance learning students willing to meet with the instructor) - can be done by an individual or a team with no more than 3 members. A written report is to be produced as outlined above except only three pages of written information is required, but all other elements are the same. A poster must be produced, notice must be given to the instructor at least 5 days prior to the presentation to assist in the plotting of the poster. The students will stand at their poster and answer questions from other students, faculty and guests. The topic must be explained orally to the instructor at least three week prior to the due date.
Virtual Report, takes a form similar to the oral report. It is to be done by a single student, which creates a set of presentation slides (PowerPoint). The written report is only three pages, plus a list of at least five references. The student will then voice over the slides and there are multiple ways in which this can be accomplished, which includes making a video or annotating each slide. The topic must be explained to the instructor at least three week prior to the due date.
